Hi, I’m Erin
“…NAC values family.”
Erin has worked with NAC since 2018. Erin left the medical field as a Certified Ophthalmologist Assistant. Her main job is to assist Theresa with the job orders and filing the applications online. Most of you have spoken to Erin about the contents of your job order details. Erin fills in wherever she is needed. She is also in charge of the NAC Facebook page and website.
While Erin didn’t start with NAC full time until 2018, during peak season she worked on the weekends doing data entry. Now she wouldn’t come in at 2 am, but she would come in at a “decent hour of 8 am”. Like her sisters, she has heard about the H2A program at the dinner table since she was 8. Erin is #2 of the 4 sisters. She is frequently called “the favorite” by her siblings.
Outdoors & Family Shenanigans
When not working at NAC or answering the families’ questions about eye issues, Erin enjoys fishing, riding the side by side, listening to music, and spending time with her friends and family. When asked what she wanted to do on Mother’s Day she said she wanted to spend the day with her husband and daughter fishing.
Erin and her husband Sandy stay busy raising a teenager Anna (who works summers here at the office.) They are big supporters of the high school softball team, where Anna plays right field.
During softball season they travel to various schools to support the team and Anna. They know every team member by name, and cheer words of encouragement. You can often find them spending a Thursday or Friday night in the concession stand, raising money for the team.
Living the dream
When asked what do you like best about working with NAC she answered…
“The way NAC values family. If I am needing time to deal with something related to my family or extended family, it isn’t questioned. If I need to leave work to handle something at my daughters’ school, it isn’t questioned.
For 10 years I had to miss many of my daughters’ events at school due to traveling 3+ hours a day to and from work. I missed awards, dances, field trips, and just about every event due to working so far away and staffing issues at my employment.
I am now local and even if we are having staffing issues, we make do so others can be present for their family.”
